Busy…

I’ve been busy lately.
Last Saturday DH and I started to built a hallway closet to try to manage out "clutter issue"… Thanks God we have no children! Just the two of us know how wreck a house in minutes. Since we married four years ago we’ve been trying hard to have and organized house. But there’s always a place to be ashamed about! Hopefully this new closet space will help us to organize our junk. In the meantime the house is a disaster area full of lumber, "construction" equipment and sawdust. The good thing is that it is coming out really nice, and we already feel proud about it. Plus! We haven’t argued not ones!!! That wasn’t possible two years ago. I think we are finally learning to communicate as people. LOL If everything goes as planned we should finish the closet project during this weekend and continue with the baseboards project as planned. (We already pulled out the tile-baseboards from the hallway before starting the closet.) SO that makes two projects in progress from my 101 in 1001 list (number 94 & 97). Isn’t that neat? After we are done I’ll post few pictures of it in my 101 in 1001 blog.

I also started to learn more about HTML, CSS, and JAVA. (number 38 from my 101 in 1001 list). I learned how to create a FavIcon… I’ve been wanting to learn how to do that for a while, SO I’m really happy about it. Don’t you know what a FavIcon is? Just look up to the browser bar. That’s my FavIcon! Isn’t it neat? For more info just go here. It is really easy to do.
I also placed a No-Right-Click JavaScript on this page so no one can "steal" my design. *wink* I don’t remember from who I got that code. SO I have no one to give credit for it. BTW… Tressa you should check your No-Right-Click JavaScript ’cause it isn’t working properly. Yours either Helen. E-mail me if you want the script I’m using. [4:00pm update: Since Right-Click is not allowed on this page, I just added a Code-Stealing-Window LOL… Don’t know what to call it so I invented that name. LOL… Go ahead steal it. Link to me!]

As for the project of loosing weight… I’m deadlocked. *sad* I am tire of eating Nutri System… BUT I’m still trying hard to be on program and eat right. I’m not going to Curves though, because I’m spending a lot of time and effort on decluttering. I have SO much to do to this house I don’t know where to start each morning! The good thing is that working keeps me away from the fridge. I guess that’s good. Right?

101 in 1001

The Mission:
Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.
The Criteria:
Tasks must be specific (ie. No ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. Represent some amount of work on my part).
Why 1001 Days?
Many people have created lists in the past - frequently simple goals such as new year’s resolutions. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organizing and timing some tasks such as overseas trips or outdoor activities.
